The Decorated period is the second Gothic style and is seen, principally, in window tracery.
It is circa 1272 – 1349.
It is seen in the Nave Windows in the Westernmost Bays. The fist two on the North Side and the first in the South. There are two friezes in this style placed on the East Feretory wall above the Holy Hole, containing the Icons, and that the screen into St Alphege Chapel above the doorway.
